In Home Newborn Photos in Central Ohio | Baby Mabel
My dear mama and photographer friend Madeline welcomed her third baby, sweet Mabel. Fun story, Mabel was on the top of my girl name list and when I found out I was having twin girls I had decided for sure on Hattie and when I told a friend I was also considering Mabel, she suggested Hazel to keep both my babies names starting with “H” and I was sold. Although I didn’t use the name Mabel myself, I’ve always loved the name and this sweet family and baby are the perfect fit for it. Thankful for this family and their continued support over the years, having me back again and again.
Lifestyle & Editorial Family Maternity Photos in Granville, Ohio
Intimate family maternity photo session in Granville, Ohio studio by Ramsey Baker
I really enjoyed having the T family back in front of my camera. I first met them when photographing their first maternity session a couple years ago at the Be Changed studio. Now this time we met in my studio in Granville with their first daughter and excitedly awaiting their second daughter to be. We did a couple different looks, starting with mama in a pretty soft green dress from amazon, her daughters linen like dress was also from amazon and I was extra impressed with the quality of it. We then took some layers away and did a bare bump set with a soft pink matching bra and panty set with a sheer silk robe out of my client closet, and lastly we went a bit unorthodox and did a more editorial style image with just black panty hose pulled up over mamas beautiful bump. Lastly we wrapped up the session with mama nursing her daughter to celebrate a really special bond mama has had with her first daughter.
Studio Newborn Photos in Granville, Ohio | Baby Daisy
Loved meeting and welcoming baby Dasiy. Her family came to my studio in Granville and honestly, Dasiy was a bit of a dream newborn. She did so well transitioning between all the various poses and looks I like to create for a full studio newborn gallery.
90s Inspired Summer Maternity Photos in Central Ohio
I met this couple unexpectedly when their original photographer was unable to do their photos and although that could sound like an awkward meeting, it was lovely to meet them. They both are the easiest to be around and I was loving their whole look, style and vibe. Ali wanted to come “casual” but I call it cool 90s girl. In my head I just kept singing, “She belongs, among the wildflowers…”
Florist Sunrise Maternity Photos in Central Ohio
I’ve been lucky to meet Katie in the “vendor” world of wedding photography. Katie is a very talented local florist and when I found out she was expecting I reached out and suggested doing something unique to her story. Together we brainstormed creating a beautiful bra made completely of flowers. She knocked it out of the park and her sunrise photos were breathtaking.
Studio Newborn Family Photos in Central Ohio, Baby
This was a fun full project from maternity to fresh 48 to a studio newborn session, its been a joy to get to know this couple and meet their sweet baby boy. Im already missing them in the future as their jobs will be moving them back home to South Caroline, thank goodness for social media so I’ll get to watch from a far this babe grow up.
Documentary At Home Father + Daughter Family Photos | Columbus, Ohio
These sort of sessions don’t come round often enough. When Bryce reached out wanting to photograph some time spent with his daughter I was thrilled. I had no idea his plans for the session, but knew he was a creative mind. When I arrived and he casually mentioned wanting to do a couple things that he and his daughter do together- making a flower bouquet and making some fresh OJ, I had to hold back a happy dance. It may sound so simple, just like he offered the ideas. But these little interactions are what make documentary style photographs real. These are the times well spent that are worth documenting.
Studio Newborn Family Photos in Central Ohio | Baby James
I love when I meet a new family, which is an often perk of this career. This family didn’t disappoint. Their new baby James was just the perfect little guy and they were all so in love with their new family of three. I was happy to assist in the styling for this family and use the beautiful studio, Humble & Pine. I can’t wait to watch this little guy grow.
Cuddly Motherhood Photos in Central Ohio
Amber is a dear friend of mine and I loved that she took the time to come to the Humble & Pine studio to document just her and her two babies. They were all so cuddly and easy to work with that I didn’t want the photo session to end.
Intimate Maternity Photos in Historic Mount Vernon
Sometimes a photographer just wants to have full creative outlet more for themselves than for the client. When Im feeling that itch, I do a model call and plan everything. In this case, I really wanted a fully nude maternity model, in a charming old historic home with some quirky accessories occasionally. Cue my Cleveland expecting mama, I couldn’t believe she was willing to travel hours for this photo shoot but im so glad she did. I left feeling inspired and ready to take on busy season.
Editorial Vibe Maternity Studio Photos in Central Ohio
Sweet Caitie reached out about documenting her pregnancy and was open to trying whatever I wanted to do, which is music to my ears. I had this vision in my head of using a bodysuit for her “intimate” looks and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out, thank you Caitie for running with my Ideas and making beautiful art in front of my camera.
Empowered Breastfeeding Motherhood Photos in Central Ohio
Tarin is a childhood, now lifetime friend and I’ve been so honored to watch her become the best mother as she raises her three children. She wanted to capture her motherhood journey with her baby Tessie through images of her breastfeeding. To her breastfeeding has been a beautiful and empowering experience and I think the photos captured the essence of just that.
Vintage Film Inspired Motherhood Photos in Granville, Ohio
Ashley is a super talented local photographer and recently had her third baby, first boy. We met at my moody studio in Granville and spent some time getting creative with posing while also capturing the special bond between baby and mama that is breastfeeding I went a little heavier on the grain to give it more of a nostalgic film vibe and loved how these photos turned out.
Winter Beach Family Photos | Columbus, Ohio
Madeline is an amazing local wedding photographer who I’ve come to love and enjoy her family so much. She wanted some family photos before the end of the year and with a positive spirit, we opted to try for outdoor photos in the midst of winter setting into Ohio. I had this idea one day when using a local beach, alum creek. Along the beach there are old wooden signs with numbers, helping identify where you are. They had this old worn look that I was drawn to so I mentioned to Madeline that I wanted to do some more editorial maybe off posing around this sign and luckily she was all for it. It was a grey and cold day but honestly, the kids did so well and the photos turned out beautifully.
Brooks Family of Six Maternity Photos in Pataskala, Ohio
The Brooks family, currently a family of six with four adorable sons are all excited and celebrating to be welcoming a baby sister in the near future. The family, styled by myself came all in neutral, brown tones and matched the studio space, Humble & Pine, perfectly. We started the session with the whole family and then once we got enough photos we let the kids relax and play while we focused solely on mom and dad. I can’t wait to meet their new baby girl in the near future.
Foggy Sunrise Beach Maternity Photos at Alum Creek
Hope found my work via my husband who she worked in the ICU with at a large Columbus hospital and I’m so glad she did. Her and her husband, who are both from out of state, here for her husbands residency, met me at sunrise on the beach of Alum Creek in Central Ohio. Anytime I drive up to the beach at sunrise Im always excited to see what the sun and sky will look like, because every time its different. This was a crisp November morning and we were lucky with the temperatures for Ohio. The sunrise comes up over the water beautifully and this specific morning the sky showed off with all the colors and fog/steam coming off the water. It really made for a magical setting.
Mohican Flower Farm Summer Sunset Maternity Photos
The W Family lives closer to Cleveland, which is a couple hours travel, so when they reached out for photos, I looked on a map for a half way setting area. The Mohican area is mid way and through some google searches, instagram rabbit holes, I found a beautiful flower farm and reached out. Luckily they were game for us to use their grounds for photos. Honestly I didn’t know what to expect as far as landscape but boy was I in for a treat. The farm is rolling hills full of various flowers. I loved working with this couple and will never forget the beautiful hills of Mohican Flower Farm.
